Is NEET required for MBBS in China?
No, not for Pakistani students. NEET is India's medical entrance exam and is only required for Indian citizens. Pakistani students apply with their FSc (Pre-Medical) marks, and Chinese universities usually ask for at least 60–70% in Biology, Chemistry and Physics. For your degree to be accepted back home, check the current PMDC requirements (including MDCAT) before you apply — a mentor can confirm them for your case.
Is a Chinese MBBS degree valid in Pakistan?
Yes, if you choose the right university. Your degree is accepted when:
- the university is recognised by PMDC and listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools;
- it is approved by China's Ministry of Education to teach MBBS in English;
- you meet PMDC's eligibility rules at the time of admission;
- you pass PMDC's National Licensing Exam (NLE) after graduating, then register to practise.
